Evergreen Shrubs
Coastal Rosemary
Westringia fruticosa
وسترينجيا
Looks like rosemary and behaves better: fine grey-green foliage, white to pale lilac flowers for most of the year, and complete indifference to salt wind and drought. Excellent as a low informal hedge.

- How to care
- Full sun in sharply drained soil; it will not tolerate heavy or wet ground. Exceptionally drought and salt tolerant once established, needing essentially no summer water. Trim lightly and regularly to keep it dense, but avoid cutting back into old bare wood, which will not reshoot. Avoid rich feeding, which causes soft floppy growth.
