Mount Lebanon Tomato
Solanum lycopersicum
بندورة جبل لبنان
Grown from local mountain seed rather than a commercial hybrid, this is the tomato that tastes like the ones people remember. Thinner skinned and more fragrant than a supermarket variety, which is exactly why it never travels well and is worth growing at home.

- How to care
- Plant out after the last frost into rich soil in full sun, burying the stem deeper than it sat in the pot so it roots along its length. Stake or cage at planting time rather than later. Water deeply at the base and keep it consistent, since swings between dry and wet cause splitting and blossom end rot. Pinch out side shoots on cordon plants, feed with a potassium rich tomato feed once fruit sets, and mulch to hold moisture and keep soil off the leaves.
Available in seedling tray, small, medium. Exact pot size and plant height are confirmed when we reply to your order.
