Fruit Trees

Peach

Prunus persica

خوخ

Pink blossom before the leaves, then fruit that never survives the trip from a supermarket in the condition it leaves the tree. Fast to crop, generous, and comparatively short-lived, so plant a replacement before the old one tires.

How to care
Full sun and sharply drained soil; peaches hate wet feet more than almost any other fruit tree. Prune in late summer rather than winter to reduce the risk of silver leaf and canker, and remember peaches fruit on last year's wood, so cut to encourage new shoots each season. Thin fruit hard to about a hand's width apart. Water deeply while fruit swells and watch for leaf curl in wet springs.

Available in small, medium, large. Exact pot size and plant height are confirmed when we reply to your order.
