Fruit Trees
Loquat
Eriobotrya japonica
أسكدنيا
The akkadinia that ripens before anything else in the orchard, and one of the few trees that flowers in autumn and fruits in spring. Broad leathery leaves give it a tropical presence in an otherwise Mediterranean garden.

- How to care
- Full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Water regularly while fruit swells in early spring, less at other times. Because it flowers in autumn, hard winter cold destroys the crop, so plant it somewhere sheltered at altitude. Thin fruit clusters for better size. Prune immediately after harvest, not later, or you will remove the flowering wood for the following season.
Available in small, medium, large. Exact pot size and plant height are confirmed when we reply to your order.
