A living sculpture rather than a conventional tree. Trained over an arch or allowed to cascade down a bank, its weeping blue branches take whatever shape you give them, and no two specimens ever look alike.

How to care: Full sun in sharply drained soil. The form depends entirely on training: stake and tie the leader to whatever height and direction you want before letting it fall, because an untrained plant simply sprawls across the ground. Water through establishment, then minimally. Check ties each season so they do not cut into thickening branches. Prune only to guide the shape.
