A monumental blue-grey agave that becomes a dominant architectural feature, eventually throwing a flower spike several metres tall once in its life. Serious presence, and serious spines.

Blooming season: Once at maturity
Flower colour: Yellow-green on tall spike
How to care: Full sun and sharply drained soil. Exceptionally drought tolerant and effectively maintenance free. The leaf tips and margins are extremely sharp, so site it well away from paths, seating, and anywhere children play, or trim the terminal spines. The plant dies after flowering, leaving offsets behind. Remove offsets if you want a single specimen rather than a spreading colony.
