Daisy flowers in fierce oranges, yellows, and reds that open with the sun and close again in the evening, over silver-backed foliage. Thrives in hot, poor, exposed ground where little else will flower.

Blooming season: Spring to autumn
Flower colour: Yellow, orange, red, pink or white
How to care: Full sun and sharply drained soil, including sand and poor rocky ground. Highly drought and salt tolerant, and it flowers far better slightly starved than well fed. Water sparingly. Deadhead to prolong flowering. Trim back in early spring to keep plants compact, and replace or divide every few years as older plants become woody and sparse.
